Train Stations

There are several train stations in Magdeburg. The main station is in the central of Magdeburg, connected by several tram lines for nearly each direction. There is also a small train station near the Herrenkrug hotel named "Magdeburg-Herrenkrug". There is also a tram station located, but mostly its quicker to walk the 950m from the station to the hotel through a beautiful park with an avenue, witch leads you directly to the hotel. Bus and Tram

Magdeburg is connected by a widespread tram and bus system.

A full line-plan can be found here. Note, that there is a different line-plan for the nighttraveling, which you can find here. You can also look for special connections with the INSA travel manager.

Important for your visit of the Safecomp in Magdeburg are the lines 5 and 6. Both of them will bring you directly to the Herrenkrug hotel, but only line 6 is also connected to the main station. See the enviroment map of the main station to find the tram station of line 6.

Weiße Flotte

If you want to see Magdeburg from the river Elbe, you can participate in a boat trip. different tours are provided, the durations for the trip depends between 1 and 3 hours. If you are interested, visit this homepage(german) or ask directly at the tourist office.
